Job Requirements
Be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
Possess a valid California Driver's License, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Possess a valid California Health Aide Registry Perm ID#.
Have at least 2 years of documented home health care experience in an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one full year of experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health agency setting.
A sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick, maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
Good verbal and written English skills.
A flexible schedule including weekend availability.
Physical Requirements of the Job
Proof of TB Test within 90 days prior to employment, or within 7 days of hire.
Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication.
Able to lift 50-75 pounds and perform tasks involving extensive bending and standing.
Able to work in a stressful environment and deal effectively with stress.
Able to drive 30 miles per day if needed.
Professional in appearance and practice, with good personal hygiene.
